No formal qualifications are necessary to become a care worker. However, having an NVQ in Care is beneficial. We encourage all staff to participate in our mandatory training programs and further professional development opportunities, including NVQ qualifications.

Yes, all staff must undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check before starting work. The cost of the check can be covered via cash or credit card, and you will receive a copy of your DBS report.

 

 

We offer essential training courses, including:

  • Moving and Handling (must be completed before starting work)
  • First Aid
  • Health and Safety
  • Food Hygiene

If you have previously completed these courses and can provide valid certification, you may be exempt from retaking them.
